Green Initiatives

Creating a better tomorrow with Green Initiatives

At ESPL, we believe that green initiatives are the key to sow the seeds for a better future. To provide a means for our corporate partners to accomplish their environmental goals, we have devised various Green Initiatives.

Urban Green

With over 350 plots and 3000+ users across our facilities, Urban Green strives to create greener surroundings. With active employee involvement and adequate guidance on sowing, watering and nurturing plants, Urban Green yields up to 6,000 kg of organic vegetables annually.

We provide gardening kits with seeds, manure and saplings based on employees' choice of vegetables. The activity is not only a stress-buster but also gives employees a sense of fulfilment as they take away the vegetables grown in their plots. For support with pest and disease control as well as plant nutrition management, our teams are always available on the ground to assist the employees.

Green Rider

Green Rider facilitates effortless carpooling of employees who reside in nearby localities with over 31,000 active users and 1,40,000 trips. More than an engagement platform, the Green Rider app contributes to significant reduction in on-road traffic and carbon footprint, with 22,00,000 km carpooled and 544 tonnes of reduced CO2 emissions.

With a fleet comprising over 70 air-conditioned Volvo buses and 10 shuttle buses run by Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation, ESPL connects the city’s major residential hubs with Embassy Parks – reducing the need for private transport and offering a quicker point-to-point pick-up-and-drop service for employees.

With an average daily footfall of about 25,000, the Embassy Manyata Business Park skywalk offers safe, traffic-free passage of 1.5 km to pedestrians.

Simply Cycle

With a fleet of over 300 bicycles placed across the campus, the Simply Cycle initiative is utilised for over 6,500 monthly rides – a smarter alternative for local commute.
